• middle Wenlockian. Transition between underlying Rochester Shale and overlying McKenzie limestone and shale

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified framestone and lithified rudstone

• 10 m high, 300 wide patch reef with corals in center, surrounded by branching corals and bryozoan framework
